I have had people ask me, “What is a health coach?”  My answer would be someone who empowers their clients as they reach for their health and wellness goals, whatever that may be. For many people it starts around food – dieting or weight loss, and typically it evolves from there.  Overeating or weight gain are often a symptom of some underlying condition.

My approach to health coaching is first to listen.  People don’t realize how often they already know what they need to do to feel better.  They may not know how to make that change though and that is what I guide them through.  As a health coach I have many tools to offer to be sure my clients can be successful. Together we will make a plan and then work the plan. I continue to listen and coach you to keep you on track to successfully reaching your goals.  You will leave knowing how to eat for your body, what your triggers are, and what tools help you stay on track. 

I work with groups as well as see clients one-on-one.  I also offer healthy eating cooking classes, workshops, a ph-balancing cleanse, as well as yoga practices designed around your goals and challenges.
